ABOUT MY WORK

Welcome to Beauty By KB! Let me formally introduce myself - my name is Kristyn (cue mug shot above) and I've been involved in the beauty industry since 2011. I graduated with an NZQA certificate in Makeup from Samala Robinson Academy, giving me 8 years experience in the beauty industry. 

 

I started out with a job in a photography studio, gaining knowledge on techniques to enhance beauty in natural and studio lighting. I then moved on to freelancing, for myself & Maybelline, and focused primarily on weddings and event makeup. There is something about getting people ready for big events in their lives that I feel so passionate about!

In 2016 I moved to Sydney, Australia. I was the Counter Manager for Burberry Beauty, within David Jones. I learnt a lot of new techniques, opened myself up to new products and even expanded my knowledge of brands such as YSL & Guerlain.

My main passion still lies in wedding & event makeup and I hope I get the chance to work with you! Should you wish to book with me, I offer package deals for large bridal parties or a group attending a ball. Included in my services are a set of lashes (full set or individual). Tavel rates are additional and are quoted on location.
